Deposits:

To secure your reservation, a 30% deposit of the total rental value is necessary. While always recommended, it becomes mandatory for rentals scheduled beyond 15 days from the order date. If you choose offline payment methods, you can conveniently make the deposit through PayPal. It’s crucial to note that paying the deposit does not automatically confirm the order; confirmation must be completed by one of our staff members to ensure accuracy and personalized attention.

Credit Card / Deposits:

To rent a vehicle, a Master or Visa credit card is required. Failure to present necessary documents invalidates the verification process. Insufficient funds on your credit card may result in the car rental agent refusing to release the vehicle, with no reimbursement for advance payments. Upon vehicle collection, a preauthorization amount will be held on your credit card based on the chosen insurance type (EUR 100.00, EUR 150.00, or EUR 750.00), serving as a security deposit. This amount is released if no theft or damage occurs during the rental period. In case of damage, the renter’s responsibility is limited to the selected insurance type’s excess, with the standard policy covering any remaining expenses.

Our services are accessible every day of the week from 08:00 to 22:00 at various service points, including:

⇒ Service Point in Acharavi, North Corfu

⇒ Corfu Airport (Meet and Greet Service)

⇒ Corfu Port (Meet and Greet Service)

⇒ Your hotel

For pickups and returns after hours, there is an additional charge of EUR 25 (VAT included) per occurrence, with a maximum charge of EUR 50 (VAT included).

One way rental:

Applicable between our locations, following written authorization by the company and a Special Charge agreement.

 

Additional extras:

———

Additional Driver: A maximum of two additional drivers is permitted, and each additional driver incurs a daily charge of EUR 4.00 (VAT included).

Baby/Child/Booster Seat: A maximum of three additional seats are available at a daily charge of EUR 2.00 (VAT included).

GPS: Available on request at a daily charge of EUR 5.00 (VAT included).

Pets in vehicle: If you plan to bring pets to accompany you on your vacation, we kindly ask that you inform the rental company in advance. Please note that bringing personal pets is subject to additional cost. However, company animals, accompanied by the required paperwork, are exempt from this additional charge.

Fuel policy: On completion of the rental term, the rental vehicle must be returned with the fuel gauge at the same level as it were on the day the vehicle was picked up.

On picking up your rental vehicle please inspect it for any damage prior to its rental, and promptly report any existing problems before departing from the pickup location.

Any damages reported after departure will be considered the fault of the renter and appropriate charges will be applied.

Transport of Rental Car by Boat is Not permitted

It is forbidden to transport the rental car by boat without prior written permission by the company. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will not be covered by any type of insurance.

Exiting the Borders of Corfu and/or Greece is Not permitted

It is forbidden to exit the borders of Corfu and/or Greece. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will not be covered by any type of insurance. 

Reservations:

———

Modifying a reservation: Reservation modifications may be proceeded via e-mail: info@rentautocorfu.com or via phone (30)2661151528 at least 24 hours before the rental period’s commencement. Modifications requested are to be confirmed by e-mail in writing.

Reservation extensions: To extend an upcoming or current reservation, please notify us, at least 48 hours before the originally scheduled return date at the following email: info@rentautocorfu.com or via phone (30)2661151528. In such a case, the company cannot guarantee that rental costs as well as terms and conditions for the period of extension will remain the same as those valid when pre-ordering through our websites.

Reservation Cancellations: Reservation cancellations are accepted only in writing. Further, they must include renter’s data, booking data, and the reasons justifying that cancellation. Should renters fail to inform the company and/or fail to arrive at the pickup location, they will be charged an amount equal to 100% of the reservation value.

Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to:

at least 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled pick-up date.

Once confirmation of the cancellation has been received, the amount of money deposited will be refunded in full. Should you cancel your booking due to inability to produce certain of the required documentation (e.g., passport, driver’s license, credit card), or due to the invalidity of said documentation, you will be charged the full reservation payment. There will be no refunds for rental days still unused due to early return of the rental car.
